@omic Award

'Thanks so much for the award. I so appreciated your comments about my site. I respected your assessments of the other sites [on] the Winner's Page, so I thought, "Me too! Me too! I want them to tell me what they think of my site!"'
- Bearsclover@ 12 Aug 2001

The @omic Award is aimed at rewarding those of you have spent the time to build a good website. It's very subjective to what we consider good design. Criteria we will be considering will be:-

  • utility - is the site useful.
  • navigation - is it easy
  • design - is it useful does it add to and complement the content.
  • content - is it useful and informative.
  • technology - not for using technology for it's own sake but for using it wisely, to complement the content, navigation and design thoughtfully.

We offer three types of award Gold, Silver and Bronze dependent on how effectivly you meet the above criteria. You can read our guide to building effective web sites to give you a better idea of what we'll be looking at or browse our reviews for past winners below.

If you think your site has what it takes, apply for the @omic award here.

Good Luck!
